*** THIS IS NOT A PREDICTION ***
If the reader looks up into a clear night sky, there would be seen two incredibly bright objects dominating the sky toward the west: Jupiter and Venus. The present configuration would look as above.

Jupiter and Venus are heading toward a conjunction in March. Above is shown March 1.
On March 15, the two planets will reach their closest point. This conjunction will be "spectacular" due to the fact that it will be visible 4 hours after sunset--a rarity. From Earthsky.org:
Why are Venus and Jupiter up so long after sunset now? For any Venus-Jupiter conjunction to light up the nighttime for a maximum time after dark, a perfect storm of conditions has to prevail. First of all, Venus has to be at or near its greatest evening elongation – farthest angular distance from the setting sun. Second, the ecliptic – or pathway of the planets – has to make its steepest angle with the sunset horizon. Both of these conditions exist this month. The greatest elongation for Venus – when this planet is due to be farthest from the sunset – will happen on March 27, 2012. As for the angle of the ecliptic, it could not be more ideal than March for evening viewing, as seen from the Northern Hemisphere.
Why is this interesting? Because the author of the Star of Bethlehem documentary (below) postulates that it was this Jupiter/Venus conjunction--the brightest star in the sky--that the "wise men" followed to find Jesus.
Matthew 2:
Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”
So it may be possible that this conjunction signaled the coming of the Messiah; so John 3:16 becomes interesting here:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.We find in Revelation that Jesus is the Morning Star:
“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” (22:16)So it makes sense here that Venus would help the wise men find Jesus; but look at the information on the location of Venus at the March conjunction:
| March 15, 2012 | 10:37:46 | Venus | 3°16' north of | Jupiter | 44.6° East |
Venus is at 3-16 on the conjunction.
And just out of curiosity, here are the three prophetic Books that have a Chapter 44, Verse 6:
“Now say to the rebellious, to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “O house of Israel, let Us have no more of all your abominations. (Ezekiel)Interestingly enough, these three 44-6 verses corresponding to Jupiter (god-father) are about God and His wrath. So, on the date of the conjunction, Venus has a location alluding to Christ and Jupiter has a location alluding to God.
So My fury and My anger were poured out and kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as it is this day.’ (Jeremiah)
“Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God. (Isaiah)

It's hard here not to recall football "star" Tim Tebow and his 316 yard game over the Steelers on January 8. John 3:16 apparently became the #1 search term the day following the game--so "316" reached a mass appeal after the game.

And one final note, the supposed 188 day cycle is due March 22.
